Death Doula, Elder Care Doula, & Care Consultant
Life is Sacred
Every life deserves to be cared for and celebrated. The process of preparing for the end of life truly highlights just how sacred each moment is — and how much it matters to be accompanied with intention, dignity, and love.
We have medicalized death in this country, stripped it of its profound spiritual nature. But death is not simply a medical event. It is a threshold. A transition. Perhaps the most sacred journey any of us will ever take.
Yet so many people face aging, illness, and the end of life without a dedicated companion by their side. Family members do their best, but they carry their own grief, their own fear, their own limitations. Professional companionship fills that gap — someone steady, present, and wholly focused on you and your wellbeing.
Sacred Life Services walks alongside you and your loved ones during this time — not replacing medical care, but filling the spaces between it with presence, compassion, and deep listening.
I listen deeply to find what matters to you — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually — and help you balance those dimensions as life changes. As certain aspects shift, others come forward. We work entirely within the realm of what is possible for you, right now.
This service is designed for someone who wants to do the most important planning now. The greatest gift you will ever give your loved ones is knowing exactly what you want. This work is thorough, emotional, and profoundly meaningful.
The main goal of the End of Life Doula is to be a compassionate companion to the dying person and to everyone who loves them. I am a steady, supportive presence — trained to hold space, decrease stress, and honor this sacred threshold with intention and grace.
Sliding scale and community support options available.
No one should face this alone because of finances.

"Being a doula is not just work — it's my calling. It is my way of honoring the people I love, and of offering my gifts to the wider community."
Jenn Joyce is warm, heartfelt, quick-witted, and deeply intuitive — the kind of person who shows up fully for others. She brings equal parts intelligence, humor, and a steadfast focus to everything she does. Beneath all of that is a quiet, unwavering compassion for life and for the people moving through their most tender transitions.
Originally from New York, Jenn first visited New Mexico in 1997 and knew immediately this was her forever home. She brings to this work more than two decades of experience in design, project management, location scouting, and emergency medicine — skills that translate seamlessly into anticipating needs, holding space for complex decisions, and meeting people exactly where they are.
"Jennifer has brought me a sense of being wrapped in a warm cloak of comfort. From our very first meeting we both felt a lovely old soul connection. She is clearly a wise soul, with a calming voice, and a gentle nature. She has lessoned my fears and anxieties."

There is no wrong time to reach out. Whether you are planning ahead or in the middle of a transition, the door is always open.
We begin with a no-pressure conversation — by phone, video, or in person. You share what's happening, what you need, and what you're afraid of. I listen with an open heart.
Together we determine which services make sense for your situation, timeline, and budget. Whether you need ongoing elder care support, focused advance planning, or active end of life presence, we create a plan that fits.
I walk alongside you — before, during, and after. You focus on being present with your loved one. I handle everything else with care, competence, and sacred intention.
"I want to take the fear out of this for people by really getting in there and dealing with it head on." — Jenn Joyce
